Ovary 4-7 x 2.5-5 mm, ovoid-pyramidal to subglobose; styles 2-5 mm long, 0.5-1 x ovary. Capsule 8-11 x 6-8 mm, broadly ovoid-pyramidal to globose.
China (north Yunnan, south Sichuan, west Guizhou), Burma (Kachin).
The type of subsp. uraloides is smaller in all its parts and more delicate than the other specimens, and its locality (though imprecise -- Min River) is further north than their area. There seems to be no reason, however, to doubt that it and they belong to the same taxon.
