Inflorescence c. 13–∞-flowered, from 8–10 nodes, narrowly cylindric to narrowly pyramidal, rather dense, 80–220 mm long, with lateral cymules 1–3(–5)-flowered, bracts and bracteoles lanceolate. Flowers 12–21 mm in diam., with petals reflexed after flowering; buds ovoid-cylindric. Sepals subequal to equal, ⅓–½ united, not imbricate, 1.5–2 × 0.5–1 mm, elliptic-oblong to oblong, rounded; veins 3; margin distally with few regular sessile globose black glands; laminar glands pale, linear to striiform. Petals rather pale yellow, sometimes red-veined, 8–12 × 4.5–6 mm, 5–6 × sepals, oblanceolate, unguiculate, rounded, distally shortly black-glandular-ciliate; laminar glands pale, ± numerous, punctiform to shortly striiform. Stamens 30–40, longest c. 6–7 mm; filaments sometimes red-tinged. Ovary c. 2 × 1 mm, ovoid, not rostrate; styles c. 4 mm, c. 2 × ovary. Capsule 4–7 × 3–4.5 mm, broadly ovoid to globose.
