DIAGNOSTIC DESCRIPTION
Shrub0.6-l.5 mtall. Leaves7-11(-16) x 2-6 mm, obovate (or rarely oblanceolate) to narrowly elliptic, thickly coriaceous; slightly glaucous, ± cucullate or incurved, usually ± densely imbricate; apex apiculate-obtuse to acute; basal veins 5-7; glands prominent. Flowers 15-20 mm in diam. Sepals lanceolate, acute, 7-veined. Petals 8-12 mm long. Styles 5(4), c. 3 mm long.
