Hypericum olympicum Form tenuifolium (Nomenclature)
Diagnostic description:
Stems erect to decumbent, not branched below inflorescence. Leaves 8–10 × 1–2 mm, narrowly oblong to linear (l:b = 5–7.5), subacute to rounded, with few or no black intramarginal glands. Flowers 30–40 mm in diam. Petals golden yellow.
Distribution:
Macedonia, northeast Greece, southwest Bulgaria.
Notes:
Forma tenuifolium has a scattered distribution in the Macedonia/Bulgaria border area and south to extreme southern Makedhonia. Although it resembles primitive members of sects. Oligostema and Crossophyllum in its narrow leaves, it is unlikely to be ancestral to these sections.
