DIAGNOSTIC DESCRIPTION
Leaves lanceolate to ovate or elliptic, apex acute to rounded, base rounded to broadly cuneate. Flowers 15–25 mm in diam. Sepals broadly to narrowly elliptic, acute to subacute; margin glandular-ciliate to subentire or rarely entire. Petals 12–17 mm long. Capsule 6–8 mm long, pyramidal-ovoid, occasionally with some glands elongate and/or pale.
