Hypericum huber-morathii (Nomenclature)
Perennial herb, 0.08-0.15 m tall, glabrous, with stems few, erect from decumbent base, usually unbranched below inflorescence. Stems slender, terete, brittle, eglandular; internodes 6-14 mm, exceeding leaves. Leaves to 0.5 mm petiolate or subsessile, spreading; lamina 5-9 ´ 4-6 mm, ovate-oblong to broadly ovate or triangular-ovate, subglaucous, rather thick; apex rounded, margin plane, base truncate to broadly cuneate; venation: ; laminar glands pale, numerous; intramarginal glands black, dense]. Inflorescence 3-12(-30)-flowered from 2(3) nodes, sometimes with flowering branches from 1-2 nodes below, the whole subcorymbiform to broadly pyramidal or more rarely cylindric; pedicels ; bracts and bracteoles oblong, with black gland subsessile or on cilium. Flowers c. 8 mm in diam.; buds ovoid-subglobose, rounded. Sepals c. 2.5 ´ 1.5 mm, equal, imbricate, elliptic to oblong, acute to obtuse, margin regularly glandular-ciliate; veins ; laminar glands black, numerous, punctiform; marginal glands black. Petals yellow?, 5-7 ´ c 2 mm, oblanceolate, rounded, apiculus ?; laminar glands; submarginal glands 1-2, black or absent. Stamens 18-20. Ovary 1.5 mm long, ovoid-ellipsoid; styles 3, [length & rel. length], spreading-ascending. Capsule not seen.

H. huber-morathii is intermediate between the ‘subhirtella’ form of H. lanuginosum and H. minutum.
