Petals 5, bright? yellow, not tinged red, 11–14 × 5–6 mm, 3–4 × sepals, elliptic to oblong, rounded, entire; laminar glands pale and/or occasionally black, linear to striiform and apically punctiform; marginal glands absent. Stamens c. 40, ‘3’-fascicled, longest 10–11 mm, 0.75–0.9 × petals; anther gland black. Ovary 3–4 × 2.5 mm, ellipsoid; styles 3, free, basally incurved, 6–7 mm, 1.8–2 × ovary; stigmas narrow.
